If you are interested in one or more items from Darklands, please contact us. We will answer all your questions promptly and work with you on selecting the appropriate size. When you are ready to buy, we will arrange payment and shipping.

WHY DO YOU NOT MEASURE ITEMS?

Measurements are for e-bay! We pride ourselves in our service and product knowledge, and feel that our approach is more sophisticated. Measurements are not an accurate way of determining fit, as garments vary widely in their cut and structure, particularly amongst different brands. By trying things on ourselves and having a direct conversation with our clients, our ratio of success in selecting appropriate sizing is much higher than people who measure items.
A good starting point is to provide us with your height and weight, plus waist and European jacket size, when inquiring about an item.

HOW DO I PAY?

Paypal is the fastest, most efficient way to pay. It’s safe and easy to use. If you don’t have it, you can create an account on www.paypal.com. Alternatively, you can send us a Wire Transfer.
Sorry, at the moment we are not set up to accept payment by credit card, for internet purchases. Please note that all prices listed include VAT.

HOW MUCH IS MY ITEM IN USD (OR OTHER CURRENCY)?

The only accepted currency at Darklands is the Euro. For a quick reference, you can convert any currency into Euros at www.xe.com, updated daily.
However, please note that the exchange rate for your purchase will be ultimately determined by Paypal.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

Shipping is free worldwide on all regular-priced items (or several items) over 300 euros. Inside Europe, shipping is free regardless of price.
The same rules apply to all SZ members.

WHERE ARE THE ITEMS SHIPPED FROM?

Everything we sell is shipped from our physical store in Berlin, Germany.

WHAT IF MY ITEM DOESN’T FIT?

Please notify us immediately upon arrival; the faster we get your item back, the faster we can replace it.  Items can be returned for the correct size, a different item or a Credit Note for later use from any partner store: www.nagnagnagshop.com, www.komakinoshop.com or www.darklandsberlin.com.
Within Germany, we can refund your money; however, please bear in mind that you will be denied online service from that point onwards. You are always welcome to shop in-store.

HOW DO YOU SHIP?

We ship via DHL-Deutsche Post Air Mail, a very fast and reliable option. If you wish to use a different courier, please provide us with your FedEx customer number or ask us for a shipping quote.

ARE ITEMS TRACKABLE?

Yes.  You can send us an email requesting your tracking number if you consider it necessary.

HOW DO I TRACK MY PACKAGE?

FOR DEUTSCHE POST TRACKING NUMBERS (FORMAT: XX000000000XX)
* Go to www.deutschepost.de.
* Click ‘English’ at the top-right corner, then ‘Shipment tracking’ on the left, under the category ‘Online Services’. Then select ‘Individual request’.
* Enter your tracking number and date.

FOR DHL TRACKING NUMBERS (WITHOUT LETTERS)
* Go to www.dhl.de (auf Deutsch), or here: dhl.de in English
* You can enter your tracking number on the field provided on the left, without characters or spaces.

We usually recommend waiting 24-48 hours (for international customers) after the sending date to track a package, as they do not usually appear in the system before this time.

IT HAS BEEN X DAYS AND MY PACKAGE HAS NOT YET ARRIVED. IS IT LOST?

It is extremely rare that packages go missing with DHL/Deutsche Post; however if the last updated date on your tracking is more than 20 days old, please contact estefania(at)darklandsberlin.com and we will look further into it.

CAN YOU GIVE ME DIRECTIONS TO YOUR CURRENT LOCATION?

From Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), follow the signs to exit at Europaplatz. Cross the street (Invalidenstrasse), walk to the right, and turn left at the first intersection, Heidestrasse. Keep on the left sidewalk. Walk straight ahead two and a half blocks and enter the courtyard between “Boels” and “AA Galleries”. The “AA Galleries” building is our shop, accessible only through the black door inside the courtyard.

Hauptbahnhof is a major stop for all Regional trains, the Schönefeld Airport Express, TXL Airport bus, S-Bahn, U55 (from Brandenburger Tor) and buses: M85, M41, 120,123, 245 and 142.
